Advanced Equipment Corporation installed a 2,277 SF electric dual-system at the San Diego Central Library, combining IMAGE 'J' glass panels on #6 track with ALPHA 'T' panels on #1 track. This modern public library pavilion features flexible meeting and event spaces that can be reconfigured quickly for various community programs.
The IMAGE 'J' glass panels provide visual connectivity while offering acoustic separation, perfect for library environments where natural light and sightlines are important. The ALPHA 'T' panels complement the glass system with solid acoustic barriers for more private meeting configurations.
Architect Tucker Sadler Architects designed the space with flexibility in mind, and general contractor Turner Construction executed the installation to the highest standards. The electric operation allows library staff to easily transform spaces throughout the day.
