Advanced Equipment Corporation designed and installed a Spacematic automated operable partition system at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo — covering 2,373 square feet of the university's multipurpose space. The Spacematic system provides automized set-up for individual panels, requiring a fraction of the man power.
The installation features SIGMA 'D' panels on an #8 track in standard vinyl finish — a clean, neutral aesthetic suited to the university's contemporary interior. The distinctive Spacematic overhead track system, moving each panel into position automatically without manual effort, making the system accessible and efficient for all facility staff.
The project was designed by Pfeiffer Architecture and built by Maino Construction Co. Inc., with Advanced Equipment providing full system, fabrication, and installation services.
