SIGMA 'D' manual paired operable partitions on #2 track with standard vinyl finish at the Hilton Botanika Curio Collection. Arch: Arq. Andrea Sotomayor. GC: Prodeyco. Completed 2022.
Advanced Equipment Corporation supplied and installed SIGMA 'D' manual paired operable partition systems at the Hilton Botanika Curio Collection on Costa Rica's remote Osa Peninsula — one of the most ecologically diverse regions in the Western Hemisphere. The project represents a bespoke hospitality installation where design, acoustics, and operational simplicity coexist with the resort's nature-forward aesthetic. The SIGMA 'D' paired-panel system operates on a #2 top-hung track and features a standard vinyl finish complements the resort's warm teak wood interiors and open-air tropical environment. The paired configuration allows staff to effortlessly fold each panel pair and stack them symmetrically, opening the meeting and lounge areas fully for events or closing them for private functions. Designed by architect Arq. Andrea Sotomayor and built by general contractor Prodeyco, the Hilton Botanika installation demonstrates Advanced Equipment's capability to deliver internationally on premium hospitality projects requiring seamless integration with high-end architectural interiors.
